"I have been working on a series of works, which reflect the way I think of painting rather than making a painting. I deliberately use contradiction and paradoxes. Through material mediums I try to explore what is not material. For that purpose I use my paintings as objects or even cover them with plastic. For me painting is nothing but contradiction between material and immaterial and this contradiction is the dynamic of art."
